Rafnaz , final year student (2013-2017 batch)presented a paper titled “Spray Characteristics of Plug type Swirl Injector” in Advances in Science and Engineering Technology International Conferences and the same was published in June 2018 in IEEE.
Balaji, final year student (2014-2018) batch presented a paper titled “Experimental study on the effect of spanwise injection of fluid on a finite wing”, in National conference on Mechanical Aeronautical and Civil Engineering at KCG college of Technology, Chennai.

Mr. Khaja Riaz Hussain of final Year B. Tech Aeronautical Engineering participated in the “Inter-collegiate Oratorical Contest” conducted as part of the Diamond Jubilee celebration of New College in November 2013 and won the second prize. He was awarded a cash prize of Rs. 15,000.
Mr. B. Prashanth of final year B. Tech Aeronautical Engineering won the Intramurals Chess Championship organised by B. S. Abdur Rahman Institute, Chennai on February 7, 2014
Mr. Khaja Riaz Hussain of final Year B. Tech Aeronautical Engineering participated in “O. P. Jindal Debate Contest” conducted by Anna University in February 2014. He debated on the topic “Politics and Foreign affairs” and won the second prize. He was awarded a cash prize of Rs. 2,000.
Mr. B. Prashanth of final year B. Tech Aeronautical Engineering was placed fourth in the JETS – 14 Inter-state Chess Championship organized by St. Joseph’s College of Engineering, Chennai during 9-12 March 2014.
