Hybrid Rocket Motor Test Facility

The hybrid rocket facility can cater testing of a laboratory scale hybrid rocket motor with various solid fuel and oxidizer compositions. Hybrid rocket motor has got good advantages over solid rocket motor and liquid rocket engines in various mission requirements such as reignition capability, modulation of thrust, minimum environmental effect, and improved safety – which make it suitable for a broad range of applications including sounding rocket, tactical missile, launch vehicle propulsion and space exploration etc.
