• Presented a paper titled “Theraputic effects of yoga exercises” in the National Seminar on Yoga for Holistic Health at Tamil Nadu Physical Education and Sports University, Chennai, on 10th March 2007.

• Won the BEST PHYSICAL DIRECTOR award among 240 engineering Colleges in the state for the year 2003 in appreciation of yeoman services rendered for the cause of physical education and promotion of sports and games among engineering students.

• Member of board for framing of syllabus for physical education to be introduced in schools and colleges compulsorily in Tamilnadu state(2008)
• Member of adhoc committee of Anna University sports board for one year(2002-03)
• Member of Anna University sports board for a period of 2 years from 1 Jan 2004
• Member of sub-committee to finalise the rules and regulations and byelaws for Anna University sports board (2004)
• Anna University zonal sports secretary for 3 years for coordinating all the sports activities of zonal and inter-zonal programmes(2003-04 to 2005-06)
• Convener of Madras University Chengalpattu Divisional Sports and Tournament committee for 3 years for coordinating all the sports activities of Madras University Chengalpattu Divisional Tournament.
• Executive committee member of Tamilnadu Inter Engineering Sports(TIES) from 1990-91 till date.to 2010-11
• Member of Inspection Committee to consider granting of approval to state Tamilnadu State Sports University Distance Education Study Centre

Tournaments Organized

• All India Inter University Ball Badminton Tournament for Women during the year 2014-15, in which 87 Universities from all over India Participated.
• Mega sport festival the Tamil Nadu Inter – Engineering Sports (TIES-2001) in January- February 2001 in Crescent Campus in which more than 10.000 sports persons from all over the State participated in 25 disciplines including Athletics Spread over 15 days.
