1. Areas of Research Interest

• Development of Cost effective Inhibitor for Corrosion Protection of Steel in Concrete.
• Polymer Modified Mortar / Concrete for Repair and Rehabilitation works.

2. Centre for Prevention and Control of Corrosion in Concrete Structures (PC3S)

• As a supporting member of Centre for Prevention and Control of Corrosion in Concrete Structures (PC3S), established in March 2020 under leadership of Dr M.S.Haji Sheik Mohammed (Director – PC3S).
• This centre is functioning under the ambit of Crescent Innovation and Incubation Council (CIIC), a section 8 company with an objective of carrying out cutting edge research in fields of corrosion related to concrete and offer testing & consultancy services to Industries, Government and Private agencies. So far created facilities worth 20 lakhs exclusively for the centre in addition to common instrumentation facilities worth 2 crore of CIIC.

3. Publications

• Executed Testing / Consultancy / Training programme in Strength of Materials Laboratory; and Construction Materials & Technology Laboratory for various Government / Semi government / Private organizations.
• Issued Testing / Consultancy Reports and generated revenue for the institutesince 2011.
• Clientele includes Southern Railway, Public Works Department, East Coast Construction & Industries Limited, JBM Dakshin, JBM Shelters, Buhari Builders & Contractors, Arun Excello, Tulsyan Steels, Build Pro Constructions, RDS Projects,etc.
• Acted as member of the team headed by Dr. M.S.Haji Sheik Mohammed and executed GFRG Model house (550 sq.ft.) in the B.S. Abdur Rahman Crescent Institute of Science & Technology Campus at a budget cost of 5 Lakhs during 2017.
