Crescent ranked fifth in Swachh Ranking by MHRD, Govt of India

B.S.Abdur Rahman Crescent Institute of Science & Technology has been awarded “All India 5th Rank”, amongst the “Cleanest Higher Education Institutions” in the Country (Residential University Category) among the 6900 institutions participated.

The award was presented by the MHRD Secretary Mr.R.Subrahmanyam in the AICTE Auditorium, New Delhi in the presence of MHRD Minister Hon’ble Shri.Ramesh Pokhriyal, Shri. Anil Sahsrabudhe, Chairman, AICTE, Professor D.P Singh, Chairman, UGC, Dr Abhay Jere, Chief Innovation Officer and other senior officials of Ministry of HRD.

The ranking system was based on the various parameters of the Hygiene including Administrative capability for hygiene, Water Conservation Measures, Campus Greenery, Hostel Hygiene, Kitchen Hygiene and Student Toilet Ratio etc.,

The Swachh Ranking Award has been undertaken by MHRD, as a part of “Swacchh Bharat Mission” of Government of India, to promote “Environmental Hygiene” in the Higher Education Systems in which 3 Crore plus Students and Teachers are part of the same.

It may be recollected that, Crescent has earlier Accredited and Awarded by various National and International agencies of repute like NAAC, NBA, NIRF, QS Star, QS IGauge, QS India Ranking, QS Asia Ranking etc.
